We live in an oasis of preserved biodiversity , in this corner of the valley:
morning symphony by the local bird orchestra, soothing murmur of the river, frolics of squirrels that fascinate us for hours.
And a quality of nocturnal silence so appreciable for the former city dwellers that we are...
At the water's edge, you might be lucky enough to observe otters or kingfishers!
In the heart of a
Green Forest
A forest of chestnut , oak and ash trees surrounds us, and is full of edible wild plants , mushrooms and old fruit trees.
Our land extends over 7 hectares of forest, around the house and on the banks of the Lot.
We installed a greenhouse to grow some vegetables , and created terraces to plant small fruits.
Take the time to walk under the trees, to listen to the sounds of nature, to stroll!
Around Us
From the house, go hiking , canoeing or riding with a pack donkey , rent electric bikes to explore the surrounding area !
Visit Conques and its majestic abbey, the vineyards of Marcillac or immerse yourself in the verdant nature of the Lot Valley , with its remarkable built heritage!
We will be delighted to recommend the lovely local markets to discover the local specialties!

5. Vélo et VTT

La région est idéale pour les amateurs de vélo. Vous pouvez explorer les environs à vélo ou en VTT, sur des parcours adaptés à tous les niveaux.

La Voie Verte : Il y a aussi des portions de voie verte, un itinéraire cyclable sécurisé qui traverse de belles régions naturelles, et qui peut être un excellent moyen de découvrir la région.

Cuisine du Rouergue : Profitez de la cuisine régionale avec des spécialités comme l'aligot, les tripous, ou encore le roquefort, célèbre fromage de la région.

Les produits du terroir : Miel, noix, châtaignes, fruits frais… Vous trouverez de nombreux produits artisanaux dans les commerces locaux.
